Working as a cartoonist since the mid-90's, Mike Koneful started his career supplying the art for FLESHEATER, created by lead NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD zombie Bill Hinzman. Mike maintained a decades-long collaboration with CRY FOR DAWN co-creator Joseph Monks. The duo colluded on everything from A to Z (literally: AGONY IN BLACK to ZACHERLEY'S MIDNITE TERRORS), including their successful (albeit short-lived) series GORY LORI.

Aside from comic and book art, Mike does art for, and often tours with, former MISFITS singer MICHALE GRAVES and his work has appeared in numerous magazines and on SVENGOOLIE. He is currently working on the horror comic NECROMANTIC NOIR and the superhero comic BOXBOY. His other creative outlet is playing theremin and guitar.
